ENOUGH FOR OLD COUPLE. LONDON, Jan. 4.. The marriage of septuagenarians is the sequel to the rescue of a schoolbov bv bis playmate. Fred Mortlock, of Ongar (Essex), pulled Jack Mcsslev from the river, and Fred’s grandfather, W. Murtlock, wrote to inquire how Jack was. progressing. He continued the correspondence for a year, when Jack’s foster-mother (Mbs. Lacev, aged 72) iiroposed by letter and the man accepted without the old man ever having seen her.
