Airships for America
COMPETITIVE DESIGNS INVITED BY NAVY. (Received Jan. 17. 7.50 p.m.) WASHINGTON, Jan. Hi. The Navy Department has invited competitive designs for two rigid airships authorized by Congress in 1920. The designs must he submitted before May 16.' If Congress fails to appropriate the money this session the Navy will, ’ notwithstanding, pay 50,003 dollars for the v* design.—A.N.Z.C.A.
