INFLUENZA SCOURGE IN SPAIN
CHURCHES AND AMUSEMENT PLACES CLOSED .

The incidence of influenza increased alarmingly in one day. The epidemic is now the worst ever known and the death roll is heavy. The municipality has ordered the churches, schools, theatres, cinemas, cafes, trains, trams and buses to he vacuunl-cleaned and disinfected.—A. and N.Z.C.A.
