ENGLISHMAN’S END IN PARIS. SPOKE FRENCH WITH FOREIGN ' ACCENT. (Received Jan. 17, 6.55 p.m A PARIS, Jan. Id. An Englishman believed to be William Brown, who was a mechanic from Newcastle, was killed in Montmartre Boulevard at midnight because lm spoke French with a foreign accent. Brown was talking tu a woman when a passer-by exclaimed: “Talk French not a foreign language.” The foreigner retorted: “Mind your own business,” whereupon the passer-hv whipped out a revolver. *hot Drown and escaped.—A.N.Z.C.A.
