DISASTROUS BUSH FIRES

Bush fires between Junee and Temora swept thirteen thousand acres of country and destroyed many miles of fencing, and a number of stud sheep were burned. The damage is estimated at £20,060. BELGIUM’S NEW CURRENCY. (Received Jan. 17, 6.55 p.m.) BRUSSELS, Jan. 16. The first notes bearing the name of the new currehcv “Belgas” are printed. They are ordinary five hundred franc notes, inscribed “One Hundred Belgas.”
