for the cup be played at Napier.— lt was decided! to advise Hawke’s Uay that an effort would be made to play a Kirk Cup match at Napier on the way back from the Hawke. Cup match at New Plymouth. It was further decided to write the Waiapu and Wairoa associations anent their views on the conditions as already forwarded to them.

'Further advice was received from the N.Z.C.A. asking for information re players available for the English tonr. It was decided to ask the selection committee to nijike inquiries in this direction.-

A letter was received on the matter of a fire-works display at the Oval on January 29.—The Chairman and grounds committee were delegated to interview the superintendent of the Fire Brigade and to go into tlic position. Mr Bennett was empowered to finalise arrangements if the scheme is considered feasible. The draw for next Saturday’s junior games resulted as follows: —United v. Civil Service at the Domain; Celtic v. School B at the School; School A a oye.
