PROFESSIONAL ATHLETICS. ALLIES CYCLE CLUB. Tlie Allies Cycle Club will resume its weekly meetings after the holidays, with two events at the Childers Road Reserve on Friday, commencing at 5.30 p.m. Both cyclists and runners will be catered Tor, as the programme comprises a mile cycle handicap and a 100yds handicap sprint. As the Club’s athletes are in the best of condition after the New Year meetings, large fields and keen and exciting finishes are anticipated.
