' ART ACORD IN “THE SET UP’.’' An unusual feature starring Art Acord will be the presentation at Everybody’s to-night. “The So Up,” a Blue Streak Western, was taken from the popular story by L. V Jefferson, “Horse Sense, ’ and features the uncanny cleverness ot Acord’s horse’” and dog. The plot commences with Acord in the role o a deputy sheriff, with bis sweetheart’s father drawing 40 000 dollars from the bank and with the crooked banker’s plan to get the money and thence forward many complications ensue. It is five reels of the most interesting action Acord has appealed in for' some time. Acord is the wistful, self-sacrificing hero in this picture and plays a role which seems peculiarly fitted for his talents. Hard riding and thrilling smash-ups add to the action of the piece while Acord’s new leading lady, Alta Allen, is a' fascinating little -wisp of a thing who merits the great light Acord puts up to win her in the end. It is hard to see just how he will win her but win her he does m his own dashing Western style.
