WORLD FLIGHT
DE PINEDO ON EVE OF DEPARTURE. TOUR TO EXTEND TO NEW ZEALAND. (Received Jan. 20, 11.50 p.m.) ROME, Jan. 19. De Pinedo, on the eve of liis departure for his postponed flight, visited Mussolini and was warmly farewelled.
His amended route is 43.000 miles, via Gibraltar, Canary Islands, Cape Verde and Buenos Ayres, thence to Santiago, Chili, Juan Fernandes, Samoa, New Zealand and Melbourne, Tokyo, Pekin, Calcutta, Karachi. Arabia, Somaliland, round Africa, along the Atlantic coast and thence to Rome.—A. and N.Z.C.A.
