AIR ASSAULTED
VILLAG E ARRESTED. LONDON, Jan. 7. Following his acquital on a charge of stealing a £1 note from a local storekeeper a villager of Combomarlin (Devonshire) hoisted a flag from his bedroom window and triumphantly played gramaphonc and accordion selections. The storekeepers’ supporters thereupon gathered in roadway, discoursing rival music. The uproar got worse and worse until police from Barnstable ari'osted the majority cl the populace.
