The provisional draft will be published on February 7. when the Convocation meets. CABLE DEFECT REMOVED. (Received Jan. 20. 9.40 p.m.) -SYDNEY, Jan. 20. The Pacific Cable Board states that the cable ship Faraday has removed the defect in the new cable, and is returning to Sydney.—U.l'.A.
