The acting-Deputy Director of Navigation has been advised by wireless from a passing steamer that the steamer Cooma. which went a score on North Reef on July 17. is afire, and dense smoke is issuing from te;. It is thought that three men are aboard. , A wireless message from the steamer Chronos states that- the Cooma was totally destroyed by nie. The three men aboard were rescued. —IT. P.A.
