SITTINGS IN CHAMBERS. Tuesday, June 30, [Before his Honor Mr Justice Gresson,] His Honor sat in the Court Chambers at 11 a.m. RE THE shareholders of the town HALL COMPANY. In this case a petition had been presented on behalf of certain trustees therein named, praying that they might be empowered to draw certain moneys without reference to the third trustee. His Honor now delivered judgment, dismissing the petition with costs, on the ground thas the Court had no jurisdiction under the English Trustees’ Act. RE JOSEPH WALTERS. Mr Thomas applied for an order fixing date of last examination. His Honor made the order, fixing the last examination for August 13th. RE LIWIS HUNTER. On the application of Mr Slater, in this case, his Honor made a similar order to that made in the case above. RE ARTHUR HUNTER. Mr 11. N. Naldcr applied for an order of adjudication in this case. His Honor made the order, fixing the first meeting of creditors for Wednesday, July Bth, at noon. PHILIPS V. CRAIG AND ANOTHER, AND BANK OF NEW ZEALAND V. BELCHER. Very lengthened arguments in demurrer took place in these two cases ; at the close of which his Honor reserved judgment. The Court then rose.
