CRICKET.
MARRIED V SINGLE. Owing to the College Sports being postponed to Saturday, several players were unable to attend, and some chauges had to be made in the sides previously selected. Play was commenced punctually ; the Married being the first to appear at the wickets, but with the exception of Messrs Wood and Alpe, who scored 24 and 10 respectively, no stand was made, and the innings closed for the small total of 60. The Single commenced better, and although runs came very slowly at first, they were none the less sure. Messrs Wilson, D'Emden, and Souter each obtained 12, while Sweet, by some free hitting and good luck, quickly run up 28, when Fowler disposed of him. No other stand was made, and the innings closed for 107, or 47 on. The ground is still very dead, and in a great measure accounts for the small scores on both sides. The following is the score : MARRIED. Wood, J., b Fuller 2l Mclntyre, G., c D'Emden, b Fuller ... 0 Reeder, F. J,, b Fuller 0 Stevens, E. C.
