Master, agent. October 30th—Volunteer, schooner, 17 tons, Foster, for Kaiapoi, with coals. Master, agent. The s.s. Taranaki arrived in harbor shortly *fter 1 p.m., from Northern ports, and the s.s. Bruce, for Southern ports, sailed at 1.15 p.m., she was to call at Ripa Island, to take off forty immigrants, ex Gutenburg, for Timaru. A brigantine was signalled from the North when our express left, it is supposed to be the Craig Ewaun, from Mauritius, via Nelson.
