Feb 16—Wellington, s.s., 262 tons, Carey, from Wellington. Feb 16—Bruce, s.s., 205 tons, Jones, from Dunedin, Timaru, and Akaroa. Passengers —Saloon: Mrs Christian and three children, Mrs Brutlery and child, Mrs Todhnnter, child, and servant, Misses Hargreaves (3), Messrs McLean, Solomon, Evans, Moffat, and Mclntosh. Steerage: Messrs Murray, Harvey, Blatchford, Taylor, Ilobertson, and Winchester. CLEARED. Feb 16—Herald, schooner, 53 tons, Hamilton, for Wellington. Feb 16—Antelope, cutter, 17 tons, Malcolmson, for Akaroa. The schooners Crest of the Wave and Turanga, from Picton; and Canterbury, from Pelorus Sound, all timber laden, arrived this morning. The s.s. Wellington was signalled about 1 p.m. to-day. She was not up to the wharf when our express left. The s. s. Bruce arrived and was berthed at the Screw Pile Jetty at 12.30 p.m. to-day. She left Akaroa at 8.30 a.m., thus making the passage from that port in four hours. She brings 425 bales of wool, besides general cargo.
