Northern Agricultural and Pastoral Association— A meeting of the Council of this Association, was held at the Road Board office, Rangiora, on Thursday afternoon. About fifteen members were present, Mr J. McParlane, president, in the chair. The catalogue was revised and judges were appointed. After the transaction of some routine business the meeting adjourned Timaru School. —The South Canterbury Times states that the Timaru School Committee had an interview with the Provincial Secretary and Secretary for Public Works, at which the reporters were not admitted, but our contemporary believes that a satisfactory understanding between all the parties concerned was arrived at with reference to matters relating to the Timaru Public School.
