POST-OFFICE NOTICES.
Mails close at Chief Post Office for the following places, as under, subject to necessary alterations: — Friday, September 21. For Northern ports of New Zealand, per Taupo, at 11.35 a.m. ; late letters, 11.55; railway station, 12.25 p.m. Saturday, September 25, Mails per Ladybird will close as under : For United Kingdom id a San Francisco, Continent of Europe, America, Sandwich Islands, &c, at 9 p.m. For Northern ports of New Zealand, at 9 p.m. Registered letters and money orders, at 5 p.m. ' Sunday, September 26. Supplementary Englsh mails via San Francisco, at 8.30 a.m. Monday, September 27. Mails per Albion will close as under : For United Kingdom, via Southampton and Brindisi, at 1.30 p.m.; late, 2 p.m. For Continent of Europe, India, China, and the East, at 1.30 p.m. ; late, 2 p.m. For Australian colonies, Port Chalmers, Dunedin, and the Bluff, at 1.30 p.m, ; late letters, 2 p.m. -• Registered letters and money orders, at 12.30 noon.
