MAGISTRATES' COURTS.
♦ CHRISTCHURCH. Wednesday, October 13. [Before G. L. Mellish, Esq., R.M.] Drunk and Resisting the Police.— Wilhelm Holstead, charged with this offence, was fined ss. Lunacy from Drink.—John Barton, suffering from the effects of drink, was remanded for eight days for medical treatment. Drunk and Disorderly. Emanuel Trenwith was fined 40s; and John Haley 10s, and ordered to pay cab hire.
