CHRISTCHURCH. Wednesday, October 20, (Before G. L. Mellish, Esq, R.M.) Drunk and Disorderly. Walter Griffs, for this offence, was fined ss. Vagrancy— Robert Gully, a decrepid old man, who has for some time been an inmate of the Charitable Aid Home, was brought up on this charge. Mr Callender detailed the habits of accused, which were an annoyance to the other inmates, and believed the man was out of his mind. Remanded for medical examination. Application. An application by Mr Thomas, for Mr Maples, Garrick Hotel, for permission to supply refreshments on the Cricket Ground on next and three succeeding Saturdays, was granted.
