Mails close at Chief Post Office for the following places, as under, subject to nscessary alterations: — Monday, June 26. For Otago, per Hawea, at 11.35 a.m; late letters, 11.55 a.m; railway station, 12.25 p.m, train. For Northern Provinces, per Phoebe, at 1,45 p.m; late letters, 2.5 p.m; railway station, 2.30 p.m. train. For Otago and Australian Colonies, per Alhambra, at 1.45 p.m; late letters, 2.5 p.m; railway station, 2.30 p. m. train. Tuesday, June 27. For Kikoura and Wellington, per Matau, Wednesday, June 28. For Otago, per Wellington. The next outward European Mail via San Francisco, will be despatched from Christchurch, on Thursday, 29th instant. J. J. FITZGIBBON, Chief Postmaster.
