Thursday, February 1. For Ofcago, overland, at 6 a. m. For Otago, per Rotorua, at 11.35 a.m. : late letters, 11.55 a.m.; railway station, 12.25 p.m. train. Saturday, February 3. For Akaroa and Otago, per Wellington. For Otago and Austradan Colonies, per Alhambra. For United Kingdom, via San Francisco, on February Bth. Important changes in local mail traffic on and after Ist February.—The mails for lempleton, Rolleston, Burnham, Sehvyn, Dunsandel, Rakaia, Ashburton, and Timaru now closed at 10.45 a.m. will be closed at 11.20 a.m. The mail for Timaru now closed at 3.20 p.m. will close at 4.30 p.m., and an additional mail for Ashburton will be despatched. The South mails now due at Christchurch by 7.17 p.m. train will arrive at 5 p.m. On and after Ist February a Post office will be established at Blue Cliffs, South Canterbury. J. J.
