GREEK REBELS MAKE SEVERAL ATTACKS
(Rec. 11.15) LONDON, Sept. 2 The British United Pres correspondent at Athens says: A communique said that the army here has repelled six guerrilla counter-attacks west of Florina’ip. Vitsi and Traiangle. North-east and west of Kastoria, the Greek army has captured important position.
Greek Guerrillas Not Armed by Britain (Rec. 9.50). LONDON, Sept 1. Reuter’s correspondent at Athens says; _The Greek Foreign Minister, M. Tsaldaris, has joined the British Embassy in condemning Athens newspaper allegations that Britain has deliberately supplied arms to the Greek guerrillas as cabled earlier. M. Tsaldaris said that the reports were “absolutely fantastic.”
