SUPPOSED SUICIDE. DISAPPEARANCE OF A DOCTOR. Master-ton, last night. A woman named Annie Lang left her home on Friday and as she did not return a search was made, and her slippers were found on the river bank. The river was then dragged and the body recovered. It is supposed that the woman committed suicide. WrsrroßT, last night. Dr Thorpe, a very old and respected resident, disappeared on Friday evening, and it is feared that he fell intd> the river during the late storms. Anfl active search is being made for the body.
