STRANDED ON WESTPORT BEACH. NO DAMAGE DONE. LITTLE HOPES OF FLOATING THS VESSEL. Wfstfobt, last night. The Union Company’s s.s. Suva was stranded on the beach yesterday, while attempting to leave the port. After crossing the bar the vessel got into the break, and was swept by the surf about a mile along the beach, where she grounded. The vessel does not appear to have sustained any damage, but there are little hopes of floating her.
