A CAPITAL MEANS OF INVESTMENT.
The fourteenth annual meeting of the Gris' borne Building Society was held last night’ and the institution is well worthy of commendation. As an encouragement to thrift Societies of this class are a great advantage, enabling a regular saving according to the means of those who are thus inclined. The profits on this year’s investments should be sufficiently satisfactory to carry their own conviction; but apart from this, the method of the saving should have an especial induce, ment for young people and those whose circumstances only enable them to put by a small amount each week. Of course there are many other advantages which need not be referred to at length, as they are so well known. We simply commend the Society as a most useful institution, which may be availed of with advantage by those who have not already taken shares, and the present is a most suitable time to make application.
