PARNELL AND THE TIMES.
OPINION OF AN IRISH PAPER. LETTERS SAID TO BE FORGERIES. London, Aug 21. Tn an article on the Times’ charges against Mr Parnell the Freeman’s Journal expresses an opinion that the action about to be brought in Scotland against the proprietors of the Times is quite valid. The paper goes on to say that the Commission should be limited in the enquiry to definite charges against Mr Parnell, and it adds that the clearest evidence will be brought forward at the trial to expose the letters as forgeries.
