Honor to whom honor is Due.
Sin,—Seeing that a presentation is to be made to Sergeant Stagpool, during the time of the Supreme Court sitting, of one of the greatest honors which adorn men’s breasts, several friends, with myself, considered that a Hospital concert might be held conjunctively with the event. There are perhaps not many who have not seen a brave man ornamented as Sergeant Stagpool is to be, and the occasion being one ot local and great importance should ba rendered, not only by the unusual presentation, but also by a large attendance, one to be remembered. A concert by our amateurs, would, on thia occasion be a substantial benefit to our leading local charitable institution whilst also being the means of giving a suitable farewell to a man who has gained honor in our midst. I am, etc., Gbii ind Pluck
