THE CITY RINK. THE VOLUNTEER FIRE BRIGADE. TO-MORROW (Wednesday) EVENING PRESENTATION TO SERGEANT STAGPOOLE. MR TOWNLEY having kindly allowed the City Rink for the occasion, it has been decided to hold an evening’s Entertainment of the most popular and attractive nature. Rinking will be the joyful pastime until nine o’clock, when the presentation of the Humane Society’s Medal will be made to Sergeant Stagpoole. Dancing will then be continued until eleven o’clock. The proceeds are to be devoted towards defraying the costa of the visit of a team to represent the Fire Brigade at the Annual Competition to be held at Invercargill. ADMISSION — TWO SHILLINGS GALLERY, ONE SHILLING.
