NOTICE is hereby given that a Poll of the Ratepayers of this district will be taken on TUESDAY NEX T, 11th September, 1888, upon a proposal by the Board to obtain a sum of £2,300, in terms of the Government Loans to Local Bodies Act, 1886, for the. purpose of metalling the Streets of North Gisborne and Hapara No. 3, and erecting a Bridge over the Hapara Stream. The Polling Booth is at Mr Bahry’s House, near Mr Dunlop’s, Stout Street, North Gisborne, and will be open from 9 a.m. until 6 o’clock p.m. Every Ratepayer is requested to vote, as absentees count against the proposal.
