ARRIVALS. The Australis arrived from Auckland early on Saturday morning. The sebooner Gisborne arrived in the Bay from northern ports on Saturday. The Omapere arrived in the roadstead at 2 a.m. on Sunday. She left Dnnedin on the 23rd, called at Oamaru, Timarn, Wellington, and Napier en route, leaving the latter port at 3 p.m. on Saturday, arriving as above. The steamer experienced, during the early part of the passage, light wind and smooth sea, but from Napier she met with a strong head breeze, accompanied by bead sea. Passengers : Messrs Prictor, Campbell, Crawford, Badley, Chrisp (2), and Aulesbrook. The Mararoa (Captain Edie) reached here at an early hoar yesterday morning, from South, bringing the following passengers:— Mrs Taxman, Misses Crawford, Gil), and Tideman, Messrs DeLautour, Kolla, Fraser, Brown, Fordham, Caulton, and Hare. DEPARTURES. The Australia left for Napier early on Saturday morning. The Omapere steamed for Westport, direct, at 1 o'clock on Sunday afternoon. The Mararoa resumed her passage for Auckland and Sydney shortly after 9 yesterday morning, taking—Messrs Kilrol, Ritchie, Mararoft, Campbell, Cullen, Marshall, Gibbons, Graham, and Struthers.
