WOOL ADVANCING IN PRICE. London, Dec. 5. Wool.—Greasy has advanced Id per lb; scoured has advanced Id to l|d per lb; crossbred has advanced 7i per cent.; lamb has advanced to Id per lb since the close of last sales. Buyers are operating with spirit. Up to date 43,000 bales have been ■ fid. Wheat.—Market is depressed. New Zealand wheat, average, is worth 41s 6d per 4961 b landed ; New Zealand wheat, f. a. q., is worth c. i. f. off coast, 39s per 480. b ; Adelaide wheat, f. a. q., is worth, c. i. f. to arrive, 40s 6d per 4801 b. Frozen Meats.—Mutton market is unchanged. Beef market better. New Zealand forequarters are worth 3£d per lb, and hindquarters 3 j per lb.
