MAORIS AGAIN VICTORIOUS. London, Deo. 15. In a match with Broughton to-day the Maoris were victorious by two goals and two lies to nil.
A frightful accident is reported from Dubuque, lowa, on October 29, where a handcar, conveying the Boade Family, was struck by a special train, with a theatrical party, from St. Paul to Chicago. Mrs Boade was thrown as high as the telegraph wires, and instantly killed. Two boys were horribly mangled, the head of one being split open, and his brains spread over the track for 100 yards.
