Morier betrayed the movements of the German army were based on secrets divulged in thg Emperor Frederick’s diary, Count Herbert Bismarck was unfriendly to Sir R. Morier, and inspired the Cologne Gazette to justify the reply that the diary of the late Emperor Frederick was untrust, worthy, hence Sir B. Morier’i appeal, and Count Bismarck’s snub,
