ARRIVALS. The Maitai, from Auckland via coastal ports, arrived in the Bay at 5 o'clock on Thursday afternoon, bringing—Messrs Hart and Beyer. The Wairarapa came into the Bay at 12.30 yesterday, from Auckland. Passengers: Meedames Poulgrain and servant, Arthur, and Harris; Misses Jennings, Dutton, and Leedy ; Masters Darted and Coleman; Messrs Lougdie, Schacht, Haast, and Ferre. The Australia arrived in the bay at 11 30 last night, from Wellington and Napier. DEPARTURES. The ketch Zillah sailed for Timara on Thursday afternoon. At an early hour yesterday morning the barque Lochnagar got under weigh and With a fair breeze she soon got a good offing. The Maitai proceeded on South shortly after 10.30 on Thursday evening, taking—Mias Brannen, Messrs Latimer and J. Bailey. The Wairarapa left for sonthern ports at 6 30 last evening, taking—Mesdainea Boland and Armstrong: Misses Neill, Dorrington, Fisher, and Hall; Master Humphreys; Captain Grinling; Messrs Wilson, Davis, Cameron, Cargill, and three Maoris. The Australia proceeded on north shortly after arrival, taking—Mrs Oakley and two child ran, IMPOSTS. The Rotomahana arrives here to-morrow morning from Melbourne, via south. The outward passengers leave the wharf at 9.
