DEATH OF LADY GORDON.

London, Jan. 28. Information has been received that Lady Gordon has died at Malta.

[Lady Gordon was the wife of Sir Arthur Gordon, youngest sou of the fourth Earl of Aberdeen, Governor of Ceylon, and an exGovernor of New Zealand, and to whom she was married in 1865. She is the eldest daughter of the late Sir J. G, Shaw-Lefevre, Clerk of the Parliaments, and sister of the Hon G. J. Shaw-Lefevre, One of her sisters, Miss Madeleine Shaw-Lefevre, is principal of Somerville Hall, Oxford.]
