London, Feb. 7. Principal Grant, of Ottawa, says it is necessary for England, Canada, and Australia to protest against the rejection of the Extradition Treaty by the United States. The recent article in the Contemporary Review, having reference to Prince Bismarck, which charged him with cruelty to the Empress Victoria, is now attributed to Mr Stead, the editor of the Pall Mall Gazette.
Baron de Worms, speaking at Liverpool, said it would be necessary to legislate further in regard to merchandise trade marks where there were many that were similar.
Paris, Feb. 7. Indignation is expressed at M. Floquet appointing M. de Saigne, who is a nonentity, M Minister of Justice. It is understood that M. de Saigne will enforce the repression of Boulangism,

Vienna, Feb. 6. r Some years ago in an undated letter Prince Eudolph stated that he meditated Suicide. It is now rumored that one of the game keepers shot Prince Eudolph while the latter was escaping by a window from the gamekeeper’s cot tage. The Prince had been carrying on a Hanan with the gamekeeper’s wife. The gamekeeper afterwards committed suicide.
