The Australia arrived in the roadstead at noon yesterday, from Wellington via Napier, bringing Miss Breenan, Messrs Hutchinson, Gardiner, Niven, Pocock, and Speedy. The Te Anan arrived in the bay at 3.30 yesterday afternoon, from Sydney and Auckland, bringing—Misses Blley and Magay; Messrs Brown, Marcroft, Davis, Bunson, Bach, Beid, and Low. DEPARTURES. The Maiti went on Booth shortly after midnight, taking—Misses Maki and Forbes; Hon. XBriop. The Australia proceeded on to Auckland via coastal ports, at 3 yesterday afternoon, taking—Mr Cole, Constable Hansen and one priflODtfo The Te Anau steamed on South at 9 last night, taking—Mesdames Hay and child, Jury, Walker, Pritchard, Nellie and boy; Mjives Cntter. Houlden, Bower, and Dods; Masters Lysnar and Fox; Messrs Hyde, Hopkins, Cameron, Damond, West, Evans, ■nd Graham.
The Mararoa will arrive here to-morrow morning bom the South. The last launch leaves the wharf at 9.
