Easter Holiday*.—Post Office—On Good Friday this office will observe a dose holiday. On Easter Monday, the Post Office will be open in all it* branches. Mail* usually closing on Friday will close at 7.30 p.m. on Thursday. Private boxes—Sunday hour* on Good Friday; usual on Easter Monday. Telegraph Office—This office will be open from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. and from 7 p m. to 8 p.m. on both Good Friday and Easter Monday.

Akuaku, Port Awanui, Waipiroßay and Rangitukia every Friday, at 7 p.m. and arrive at Gisborne every Thursday at 6 p.m. For Waimata Valley, every Monday, at 1.30 p.m., and arrive at Gisborne every Monday, at 10.30 a.m. For Te Karaka and Whatatutu, every Tuesday at 2 p.m., and arrive at Gisborne every Thursday at 11 a.m. for Wairengaokuri, Tiniroto and Wairoa, every Monday, at 11 a.m,, and arrive at Gisborne every Thursday, at 5 p.m. For Matawhero, Te Arai Bridge and Patutahi every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, at 2 p.m., and arrive at Gisborne on the same day*, at 11 a.m. For Makaraka, Waerenga-a-hika and Ormond, daily at 2.30 p.m., and arrive at Gisborne daily at 11 a.m. W.
