The Wairoa Guardian makes the following apology : “ Whereas a press telegram inadvertently appeared in the Wairoa Guardian of the 10th instant headed Gisborne, April 9: —* In the charge of sheepstealing against Ewen Cameron, the jury after 10 minutes’ consideration brought in a verdict of not guilty;’ and whereas the name of accused should have been W, J. A CAMP for Military Instruction will be formed at Laveaham Station on Thursday, 18th April, 1889, and will ba continued until the evening of Tuesday, 23rd April. Any person found trespassing within the precincts of the Camp, or discharging firearms, so as to annoy the Volunteers in Camp, will ba arrested and handed over to the Police Authorities.
