At u misting of tbe H.B, Agricultural Society Committee last week it was deaided to hold tbe annual general meeting ot mem. bars oa the 7th el June, and the next show during the Jockey Club's spring meeting week, A long discussion ensued op a motion affirming tbs desirableness of taxing entire horses, and finally the following resolution was carried :—" That a circular be sent to all the A. and P, Societies in the colony, urging them tq join in recommending Ministers to introduce a bill during the next session of Parliament to impose an annual fee ot £lO upon all entire horses ot three years old and upwards after the Ist ot November, the age of horses to date from Ist August in each year, that all such sums received by any A. and P. Society be given as an annual premium to sire horses standing in the dietriot in which the tax is levied."
