ARRIVALS.

The Maitai came into the Bay at 2 o’clock on Thursday afternoon, from Auckland, and shortly afterwards attempted to some alongside the breskwater, but she got stack on the bar, and was with difficulty got within reach of the crane, so that she was just able to discharge her cargo of cement for the harbor works. She brought one passenger—Mr McKerrow. The Maitai was not floated off till past midnight, when she resumed her passage south. The Weka arrived in the Bay at 2 o'oclock yesterday morning, from Napier, bringing the Hawke’s Bay Fire Brigade teams. The Botomahana, from Sydney and Auckland, arrived in the Bay shortly after 8 o'clock yesterday afternoon. Passengers: Mrs Barrow, Messrs Wright and Morgan. DEPARTURES. The Maitai steamed on to Napier shortly after midnight on Thursday, taking—Bev. Roper. The Botomahana steamed on to Melbourne, via southern ports, at 11 o’clock last night. Passengers: Mesdames Ellis, Niccoll, Malone, Doleman, Patton, Goldsmith, and Burnand; Major Porter, Master Reynolds, Messrs Wilson, Ellis, Hunter (2), Beeves, East, MoMeichal, Donaldson, and the Hawke's Bay Fire Brigade Teams, The Australis from Napier and Wellington arrives here this’morning. The first and last launch leaves the wharf at 6 a.m.

The Wsihora leaves Wellington to-night and calls in at Napier to-morrow, arriving here early on Monday morning, Last launch at 6 a.m.
