Fifty nominations have been received for the Dunedin Jockey Club’s Champagne Stakes, 1890, being 17 more than last year. Mr Stead and Mr Ormond each nominate six, Major George four, and Messrs Butler, O’Brien, Stevenson, Webb, G. McLean. V and Middle Park Company three each. Mr D. Hepburn's Audacity returned to Gisborne by yesterday's steamer.
