Timaru, Saturday, Four persons, including the owners of the woollen factory, were summoned yesterday for a breach of the law by keeping females and lads at work on the statutory half-holiday. The cases were adjourned for three weeks, as the parties ore seeking to get the half-holiday restored to Saturday, but they were informed they must comply with the law in the meantime.
