CHETWYND-DURHAM CASE.

London, June 15. Shellard, Sir George Chetwynd's trainer, ie now under examination in the case of Chetwynd v. Durham. Wood (the jockey) in his examination before the jockey club, admitted receiving presents for “ tipping ” the probable winners. He had at various times lent large sums of money to Sir Geo. Chetwynd, and had not been repaid. He admitted that he was worth £lOO,OOO.
