CAPE DE VERDE SUNK. Melbourne, Juns 24. The ship Cape de Verde (of 1711 tons) was run into by the lolanthe (1603 tons), and sunk in a few minutes, but the crew (over 30) were saved by the lolanthe's boats. The night was dark and squally, and the lolanthe, in charge of the pilot, was getting a clear course of another boat, but the helm not answering in time, the collision took place.
