The steamer Kawatir I, from South, arrived in the Bay early on Thursday morning, bringing the overcarried cargo by the Tarawen, and also one passenger—Mr Webbe. The brigantine Kenilworth, from Greymouth, came into the Bay on Thursday afternoon. The Australia arrived in the roadstead yesterday morning, from Wellington and Napier. Passengers: Messrs Fordham, BritHan, Westell, Irwin, and six Maoris. The Manapouri arrived here from Auckland kt one o'clock yesterday. Passengers : Mr Mrs and Miss Marshall, Mrs Curt, Messrs Shannon and Stewart.

The Mararos leaves Wellington thia evening, and calls in at Napier to-morrow, arriving here on the following morning. She goes on to Sydney, via Auckland and Russell, the last launch leaving the wharf at 3. After taking in a quantity of ballast at the breakwater yesterday morning, ihe brigantine Clansman was towed to an anchorage in the Bay by the Snark. She is now awaiting a favorable slant of wind to sail for Auckland.
