She experienced a southerly breeze till reaching the East Capo, which was made on the following day, and the wind shifted to eastward on the 21»t, which lasted till her arrival here at 6 o'clock on Monday evening. She brings 48,000 feet of timber consigned to Mr J. A. Harding. The Australia is due from North this afternoon. She goes on to Napier and Wellington in the evening. The last launch is at present fixed to leave at 5. The Mararos, from Sydney and Auckland, arrives here on Saturday afternoon. The outward passengers leave at 5. " The Southern Cross leaves Napier this avening and arrives in the bay early on Friday morning. Last launch at 7. The Tara were leaves Wellington to- morrow avening for Northern ports. The schooner Waiwera has cleared at the Customs tor Auckland.
IMPORTS. Per Gisborne—2s tons coal, Kennedy ;12 boxes of soap, 400 puriri posts, 2 bdli sheep skins, 5 hides, order. TELEGRAPHIC. Port Chalmers last night. Arrived—Ship Ralston, at noon, from Glasgow. Auckland, yesterday. Sailed—Australia, at 6.15 p.m. on the 23rd, or Gisborne. Frir, yesterday. Sailed—Barque Pendle Hill, at 4.15 p.m., for Newcastle.
