Arrived—Waihora, at 130 p.m., from Gisborne. The steamer Te Anau, which sailed Jas week tor Sydney, took 2000 sacks of chaff. SOO sacks of potatoes, 75 sacks of oats, 780 lacks of mails, The e.l. Oreti is to take up the Fiji Islands running recently carried on by the s.e. Southern Cross until being put into the East Coast trade in piece of the wreaked steamer Haiti!. She will be nut on ths slip for a thorough overhaul before commencing running, and have any alterations necessary tor the requirements of the trade, Captain Ander. ■on, of the Southern Cross, will ba transferred to command the Oreti, and Captain Black, of the Menawatu, will then have command of the Southern Cross; Captain Ryan, of the Oreti, being transferred to the Menawatu.
