MRS MAYBRICK FOUND GUILTY. HISSING THE VERDICT—HOOTING THE JUDGE. London, August 7. The M'.ybrick poisoning, which has for for some time past created such a sensation here, was brought to a close to day. Mrs Maybriok, who wc.s charged with poisoning her husband, having been found guilty, was sentenced to death. The verdict of the jury was received with hisses, as the evidence of an analyst stowed that death did not ensue from poisoning. The Judge who sentenced the prisoner was hooted as he left the Court, The van conveying the condemned woman to the prison was followed by thousands. Sir Charles Russell's fee for defending the prisoner was £llOO, It is expected that the woman’s sentence will be reprlved.
